Positive: the apartment is very nicely equipped. the kitchen has everything you need. you have a terrasse, garden, bicycle. at perfect location to withdraw you from any stress and worklife. you can walk to a small bay. Originally I planned to go to Sandhamn for one day. however I canceled that plan and stayed at the garden because the weather was nice and so relaxing. a few hints: - from the ferry station (Waxholm Boat line #16) you walk exactly 2500m. I did it in 29:30 min. Make sure you have a bag or rucksack to carry, a normal trolly will not be ideal for the road (hard floor, but not flat concrete). - on the way you find a supermarket (open 7 days a week in summer), you find good assortment there and they are also allowed to sell alkhol + a restaurant with very good food and a nice atmosphere - I was allowed to use the bikes from the owner and cycled to the supermarket + restaurant + other places on the island - communications with the owner works very well via booking.com chat or Whatsapp. They respond in short term and are very helpful. - Note that the house is listed as "Semesterhus" in booking.com, but the sign at the main street is "Hammar". I overlooked it and walked to far. - on my yourned to Runmarö, I took the Cinderella boat from Stockholm to Sandhamn and waited there (at the same place for the next boat (50 minutes) to Runmary). very enjoyable way to get to Runmarö.
Negative: I personally do not have a problem that, but just mentioning: Note that the toilet is not in the house itself, but 5 m from the main door and does not have water (this is also correctly stated by the owner in the description of the house). It is clean and there is not bad smell at all. But I am just mentioning as it is worthwhile to be aware.
Summary: Relaxing weekend in calm atmosphere - very friendly owner - happy to come again
