Whether this is your first time booking a vacation rental or you are a seasoned traveler, we are here to answer your questions along the way. We want to make sure you have all of the information you need to choose the right vacation villa to suit your needs.

Our simple contact the owner form, is the best way to find answers to property specific questions as you will be messaging the individual owners directly. However, below are the answers to some of our most common general questions regarding the holiday villa rental process.

Pricing & Fees

How does pricing work? Are there booking fees?

Flexibility is definitely one of the key advantages to booking a holiday villa. Each individual property owner or manager sets their own pricing and therefore you will see that pricing can vary between properties. We recommend confirming pricing with individual owners through our contact form if you are interested in their vacation rental.

Once you have sent an inquiry to an owner, you will receive an email response outlining a quote for your rental dates along with an estimated total for the complete reservation. Your rental agreement contract with the owner will outline all costs and fees and in the majority of cases, the estimated total does include all fees, etc. As with all transactions, be sure to review and understand the conditions of your rental agreement with the owner prior to signing and finalizing payment.

Payment Security

How do I know my payment is secure?

We value that secure payment options are an important concern for both BedroomVillas and our customers. PayPal or a Credit Card Service are the most trusted payment methods and are the payment options we recommend. Our partner offers a secure and enhanced payment portal to safely and conveniently complete your online payment.

*Please note we do not recommend the use of wire transfer services such as Western Union or Moneygram as they are much less secure than methods listed above.*

Owner Inquiries

I've sent an inquiry to an owner but have had no response, what should I do?

We recognize that it can be frustrating when you find the perfect vacation rental only to receive no response from the owner after sending an inquiry. If you have not received a response within 48 hours, we recommend that you use our messaging system to contact the owner a second time. The more information you provide in the more insight the owner has into your inquiry and the better chance you have of receiving a response. We've learned that travelers who send out multiple inquiries to different listings have the most success at finding a vacation rental that suits their needs.

Cancellation Policies

How do I cancel my booking?

Since life can be unpredictable sometimes, it is important to look into the cancellation policy on your rental property prior to booking. As with pricing, cancellation policies are determined by the individual owners or managers. During the booking process, you will receive a rental agreement in which the cancellation policy should be clearly indicated. If you have any questions regarding the cancellation policy or rental agreement, the owner is the best the person to contact using our direct messaging service. It is important that you are clear in the details and comfortable with the policy before booking and making payment.

Pet Policies

Is my pet allowed to come?

Each individual property owner sets their own pet policy which can vary across listings. One of the huge benefits to renting a holiday villa is the flexibility that is not usually an option when staying in a hotel. With our large inventory, the chance of you finding a holiday villa that will accommodate your pet is high. We find that many owners choose to look at pets on a case by case basis. Be sure to confirm the pet policies in your rental agreement prior to taking your pet with you rather than risking being in violation of that agreement. Remember when in doubt, the best way to get an answer to your question is to ask the owner directly.

Property Details & Amenities

What amenities are included in my holiday villa rental?

The great thing about a vacation villa is that they often include many of the same comforts as home. Although most villas and vacation rentals typically come fully furnished, we recommend confirming the details of what is included with the owner prior to booking.

Below are examples of amenities that are typically included in your holiday villa rental:

  • Fully equipped kitchen
  • Furnished living, dining and eating area
  • Private bathroom(s)
  • One or more bedrooms with bedding
  • Laundry facilities
  • Household items such as linens and cleaning supplies
  • Entertainment equipment which may include TV, media players, movies, games, or gaming consoles
  • Any additional amenities stated in the listing (ex. Pool, hot tub, private deck, air conditioning, etc.)
