Positive: This villa is exquisite! We stayed for 10 nights in August 2024. Many features of the villa we absolutely loved: the super comfortable beds, the view from the pool area, the massive day bed with easily enough shady lounging space for everyone, the fact that you can open up all of the doors in the living area and effectively live outdoors. (I especially loved this at night as it felt like an open-air cinema), the bedrooms are all spacious, the location was also great with easy access to the big supermarket, fisherman's village and chaweng as well as a few cafes and shops even closer by. The pool with a view is gorgeous and out on the front the sunsets were magnificent. You need a car but we hired one very cheaply. The property team were on hand by WhatsApp and although we had a few issues they were resolved quickly and nothing was too much trouble. All in all, we loved our stay.
Negative: Nothing major. The kitchen wasn't ideal, difficult to actually cook anything - the hob didn't work well. The coffee machine broke and was replaced but the replacement wasn't great either. There is a big fridge which is a plus and we did not cook much so it didn't really bother us. There is no washing machine but you can get a laundry service at the end of the street. There is no Aircon in the living area but big fans, which was more or less fine given you can open everything up. The property is at the top of an extremely steep hill, and the parking space is a bit difficult to manoeuvre into and out of.
