The Treehouse is about an hour's drive from the International Airport in Liberia. It is advisable to rent a SUV (4WD) rather than a car to navigate the local roads.
Regarding Flights into Liberia: It is best to book flights with arrival by mid afternoon at Liberia International Airport. It will take a few hours after your arrival to pick up your rental vehicle, take time for lunch and bakery items at Café Europa, and get any groceries, liquor etc. En route after your last stop, you will need to contact our property manager, Carlos Velarde, at reservations@intipacificrentals.com to meet with him and pick up the keys. Your message goes directly to his iPhone. Directions to his office are underlined above.
For any guests arriving late afternoon or evening at both Liberia and San Jose Airports, we recommend an overnight stay at one of the hotels outside the airport, as it is best to drive the roads in day light. The sun sets in Costa Rica about 6 pm.
Only a ten minutes' drive to beautiful, sandy, uncrowded local beaches and quaint German, Swiss, Dutch, Italian, Peruvian and Costa Rican restaurants.
