Standing above a small garden and surrounded by palm trees, the swimming pool (*) and the ample terrace with barbecue create the perfect setting to revel in the island’s magnificent climate, enjoying breakfast or dinner al fresco, or simply basking in the Majorcan sun. Inside, brimming with light and a vibrant décor, the generous living room is equipped with A/C, fireplace, flat-screen TV with satellite channels and an inviting reading corner. The four spacious double rooms -two of them en suite- are also equipped with A/C, providing a comfortable and relaxing space in a quiet atmosphere. A fabulous foyer with high ceilings and a skylight, a rich and modern kitchen with all the necessary appliances, a third bathroom and a garage round out the property, which is also equipped with high-speed Internet access and central heating.
Favoured by its location on the bay of Alcudia and close to the bay of Pollensa, and notorious by the islet with its mid-1800’s lighthouse, the golf course and the tranquillity of its streets even during the summer, the residential area of Alcanada is a perfect base to explore the north of Majorca and enjoy the marinas, the long sandy beaches and small coves with crystalline waters or the protected natural spaces like the Albufera or the Cape of Formentor. Culture seekers and foodies will enjoy the old towns of Alcudia and Pollensa, villages on the eastern coast like Artà or Capdepera, and the innumerable nooks and corners of the Serra de Tramuntana, while sports lovers will find an array of options including the golf courses of Alcanada and Pollensa, beautiful cycling routes, scuba diving, and numerous water sports.
While it is possible to reach and move around Port d’Alcudia on public transportation, we strongly recommend hiring a car in order to get the best out of your time at the villa and move around the island easily and freely, with Palma’s airport only a 40-minute drive away. You can walk down to the beach of Cala Poncet in about 5 minutes, or visit Alcanada beach next to it and lie under the shade of its pines. The heart of Port d’Alcudia is just 3 minutes away by car, the shallow water of the beach is perfect for families with kids and there’s a multitude of restaurants, supermarkets, a water park and plenty of shops.
Use of the entire property is exclusively for guests. Privacy is total and the house will not be shared with the hosts or other people.
(*) When travelling with toddlers, access to the pool deck can be closed through two small doors equipped with barrel bolts, preventing them from getting to the pool area both from the upper terrace and from the garden below. If the children are a bit older and able to reach and open the sliding bolts, we can also provide padlocks upon request so they can't open the doors without a key or combination.
