Positive: We stayed at Savernano in October 2025, as part of a 3 week Italian trip for our honeymoon, and absolutely loved it. Our host Caterina picked us up from Figline Valdarno train station and transported us to the B&B, which is around 15 minutes away, quite remote, and just up from a small town with a small shop, a pharmacy, and a bar. The room was spacious and very clean, with an en-suite bathroom (an excellent shower), and a very comfy double bed. The communal areas include a swimming a pool (which we did use, despite it being October!), sun loungers, and a viewing point with amazing views of the surrounding area. Additionally, there's plenty of seating area outside the main breakfast/dinner area. On the land they keep donkeys, cows, pigs & other wildlife. The food was excellent, and very fairly priced. We had breakfast & dinner each day, and all the produce is from the local land. They were also able to cater easily for gluten-free. It was honestly the best food we've had all trip. The family who run it are really accomodating and friendly. They have two adorable dogs (who love fetch), and an amazing parrot. We'll definitely look at coming back one day, and maybe bring a few friends with us. If you're looking at the area, we'd definitely recommend.
