Positive: Other than the points mentioned the house had been cleaned very well, hoovered/ clean bathrooms. Conveiniently located near a supermarket and food outlets. 35 mins from Disney/ 40 from universal. Beds were comfy and the showers had good power.
Negative: Arrived and the property was unsecured with the door open. As we arrived late at night this made my children very anxious. The bed sheets were dirty when we arrived so we messaged the owner and they said they would come and change. Considering I slept in dirty bed sheets on the first night as arrived middle of the night) in conjunction with the unlocked door, I would expect some kind of gesture… even a bottle of wine or some money for ice creams. The bug net pushes a hole in it, so we experienced many bugs in the pool area and everyday the pool had something else in it. Lizards, bugs, frogs, crickets. The pool had no cover and there was just general debris in the pool. We also encountered 2 palmetto bugs in the house when we arrived which was probably due to front door being ajar. The property had no bedside lights so if you want to read you have to get up to turn off the main light. Cutlery was also dirty (but there was no dish washer tabs so I assume the previous people ran dish washer without tablet). In the town room the wardrobe door is loose and it fell off in the middle of the night, which only added to the loss anxiety.
Summary: Has lots going for it but needs some TLC and a bit of a revamp.
