The second you step in the door of Milord and see the spectacular view to the beach and crystal clear turquoise sea you will feel yourself unwinding and relaxing. The laid back atmosphere and privacy found in this lovely beach house makes it a complete sanctuary. One of the most idyllic holiday rentals in Barbados. Milord is nestled in the family community of Fitts Village, St. James, on the platinum West Coast of Barbados. The luxury villa rests on the ocean sands with a panoramic view of the Caribbean Sea. Right in front of the house there is a beautiful reef and if you walk a couple of minutes to the left or right, you will find lovely areas for swimming. Fitts Village is just a couple of minutes away and here you will find a lovely fishing village with plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from. Golf is available at The Sandy Lane and Westomoreland clubs within a 10 minute drive. The lovely village of Holetown is also a short drive where you will find a wonderful selection of both designer and local shops to choose from. This area in Barbados is also famous for its restaurants and there is an incredible selection of beautiful ocean front restaurants to choose from. Milord which has been recently refurbished is a fully air-conditioned three-bedroom home, with English Colonial period decor, and Zen tranquillity. On the first floor is a well-appointed kitchen providing every imaginable appliance, as well as an ample supply of dishes and utensils. There is a wood butcher-block center island that also serves as a buffet. The living area has a large sofa and chairs, a wall entertainment center for cable television, a DVD player, radio and wireless internet access. Adjacent to the living room is the dining room, with high ceilings festooned with two colonial chandeliers, and a custom built mahogany table. Unique glass block windows, louvers and skylights make the room a wonderful bright spot to have breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also on the main floor is one bedroom with an en-suite bath, and an angled bed which offers stunning views of the sea. The beautiful bathroom has marble counters, well appointed built-in cabinets, and a clothes closet. The living room and first floor bedroom each have large louvered doors that open wide onto a terraced patio where you will find an umbrella, table, chairs, loungers, a BBQ, and spa Jacuzzi. There is also an outside shower, a multitude of palms and tropical flower plants, and direct access to the sea. Here you will be able to sunbath, read your book, or be captivated by the incredible views and the peace that surrounds you. On the second floor are two bedrooms, both with en-suite baths and queen size beds. Each room is unique with early colonial, tropical and Zen decor. The bathrooms have marble counters and star chandeliers on the ceilings that direct your eye to the skylights. All of the rooms are air-conditioned, in addition to mahogany fans with ceiling lights. The bedrooms are outfitted with flat screen televisions, DVD players, and Stereo CD units. Both rooms open onto a covered patio setting of wicker sofa and chairs with comfortable cushions. NOTE: Rental Rates are subject to VAT at 7.5% and 2.5% Room Rate Levy (to be capped at USD 10 per bedroom per night)
