Ajoupa12 a 2 bedroom holiday villa which is located in Fitts Village, St James on the 'Platinum' West Coast of Barbados. A semi detached town house, on two floors, set in tropical gardens with a shared pool. One of just 7 pairs of houses on this development located in a cul de sac with private parking. The white powdery sandy beaches and inviting warm blue Caribbean Sea is a mere 200 yards walk away in Fitts Village, where you will also find a supermarket, restaurant and beach bar. Situated on the West Coast, the property is ideally located to enable easy access to all Barbados's attractions. At the end of the road are bus stops with regular buses to all parts of the Island, although we do recommend hiring a car so you can independently explore the Island. The capital, Bridgetown with its cruise ship port and duty free shops is 10 minutes by car and the neighboring Holetown with bars, restaurants and shops only 3.5 km. Beach, bar and a supermarket only 3 minutes walk from Ajoupa 12.

Summary: Just spent a week at Ajoupa 12 with my husband and daughter. Check in was very easy as per hosts instructions, beaches in the area were walkable and beautiful. It was very nice to be close to Jordans supermarket and to the bus. Highly recommend going to Il Tempio Italian Restaurant. The service, view and food were all top notch. The pool was always clean and enjoyable to swim in. The highlight was watching the sun go down over the ocean from the main bedroom terrace. Will certainly consider renting from Gill again.
