Positive: It was a good experience overall, the place was clean and looked like new, the views are great! The building has a gym and working area which we enjoyed. Breakfast was a bit limited but very tasty. They left for us a shampoo to use, which we appreciate! It is a bit noisy at 5am when you can hear the cars outside starting the day, as the apartment is by one main road, but it was nothing crazy. The room has air conditioner, nice shower and kitchen. The bed has many pillows and is comfortable and big. The door had an issue with closing properly which we contacted the owner immediately about, he kindly sent someone the same day to fix it (it was a Sunday!) The only few things for improvement: - it would be great if in the room we would’ve found info such as wifi passwords and how to use the safe deposit box, as we had to contact the owner for all these things. About the safe deposit box, it didn’t work, we asked the owner and he sent us a photo with instructions to set a new code which we did but anyways it kept opening with 0000 as well, so we couldn’t use it. - communication from the owner with the staff in the cafe regarding the breakfast being included (no one knew about the breakfast being included and we had to call the owner to arrange this..) - the checkout was supposed to be until 11:00 as per our booking at booking.com but the owner messaged me the same morning to say it is at 10:00 which should be ok if we would’ve known in advance but it was not pleasant to have 2 different bits of information and we were having breakfast and taking our time so we had to rush a bit because of this. - there was not supposed to be any prepayment as per our booking info, but the owner contacted us a few days before our stay sending a link to pay which we didn’t feel comfortable with doing. I understand this might be to speed this up but as there were no reviews yet of this place, it is easy to doubt if this is legit.
