Apple Tree Cottage is situated in a quiet valley of the river Krka in the centre of Slovenia. It offers an enviable degree of seclusion in a private orchard surrounded by grass fields. The cottage is located 10-minutes walk from the village Krka. Two sitting areas in the front of the house and in the garden at the back offer a choice of leisure time and outdoor dining. This traditional Slovenian cottage has been built as a comfortable family villa joining the lounge, kitchen and dining room in one spacious living area. The sliding doors join the lounge with the back terrace enclosed in garden within an orchard. On the ground floor there is a double bedroom with a king size bed, a bathroom with a bath/shower and a separate WC. The master bedroom on the first floor is a large room with the sliding door to the terrace. The third bedroom is a large room with two beds and two wardrobes. On the first floor there is a second bathroom with a shower. Sofa bed sleeps extra 2 people.

Further west stretches Triglavski Narodni Park, the national Alpine natural conservation area of exquisite natural beauty. The sea side: The area where the Alps warm up with Mediterranean weather is called Karst. This is the land of world’s deepest caves, Lipizzaners (famous white training horses) and Italian-like cuisine. The restaurants and inns of Karst are only an hour drive away from the Cottage and offer a pleasant day-trip destination. Half an hour further is the Adriatic coast with the ancient Mediterranean town of Piran.
Ljubljana: Ljubljana is a small and picturesque town. A day-trip to the capital makes a delightful destination offering shopping, visits to art galleries, and a variety of bars and restaurants along the Ljubljanica River.
