During the winter season, guests can take advantage of being less than 1 mile away from the Alpine Meadows Ski Resort and only 12-minutes away from the Olympic Valley/Squaw Valley Ski resort. During summer and spring, take a quick 10-minute drive down to Commons Beach ideal for swimming, sunbathing, and picnicking. This vacation home is perfect for a family or group of friends exploring the area with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
The common living space features an open floor plan seamlessly connecting a living room, kitchen, and dining area. The cozy living room is furnished with seating options gathered around a fireplace. A flat screen TV (with DirecTV) and WIFI are provided for your entertainment. Adjacent to the living room is a fully equipped kitchen.
The kitchen has updated stainless steel appliances and plenty of counter space for guests to whip up mouthwatering meals. Enjoy a home cooked meal at the dining table with seating for 6. The living room extends to a deck and a gas BBQ is available for cook outs.

Summary: The house is great, worked out perfectly for two families and a friend. The only couple of things that we would like to point out are: the communication with the owner/management wasn’t as easy, responses were very delayed. Looked like the gas was running low in the propane tank in the grill, which we addressed and it never got replaced. During the last night the smoke alarm started going off at 12:35 am and woke everyone up, including the little kids, we looked all over the house to determine what was going on, didn’t find anything that could cause it. It was not chirping like it would when the battery runs low, it actually went off 3 or 4 times varying in length. Asked for a late check out at 8:30am to make sure we had enough time to pack and leave since we couldn’t get a good nights sleep and we got a call back at 10:45am (Check out time is 10:00). They apologized and said the would address the smoke alarm.
