Positive: We were so happy to find this beautiful oasis of calm. Nestled between two arms of the national park and just above the river bed it was the perfect place for us to relax for a few days. We were looked after extremely well. The food was delicious and they asked us what we liked. If you are a birder you must come here. You can walk the dry river bed. There is a small temple you can climb up to. They will organise safaris to the park and night time safaris. In the parks there are elephants tigers leopards and many spotted deer and sambar and langurs. We only did one safari because we enjoyed relaxing at wild brook. We eat and chatted around the fire in the evenings we really were spoilt thank you. The owners are as eco as possible so don’t expect luxury unless you find your luxury relaxing with nature all around you.
Negative: There was nothing we didn’t like but it is worth noting that you drive through the park barriers to get there and the park shuts at dusk. So allow time. Also if you are going when it’s cold ask for a hot water bottle it makes a lovely difference. I
Summary: A little wild paradise about half a days journey from Delhi treat yourself.
