This fine houseboat with light, fresh interior is ideal for a stay for two. On your floating vacation home you can enjoy the peaceful location, the unobstructed view and the natural surroundings. And at a short distance you will not only find the beach of seaside resort Nieuwpoort, you can also go shopping here and you will find numerous other facilities. In the vicinity are of course the best restaurants.
Active guests will also have a great time here. You can make great walks and bike rides, for example in the nature reserve De Ijzermonding. Around the corner you will find the IJzer, a recreational lake where many people go surfing, windsurfing and sailing. And then a lovely drink at that lake on a summer's day at the Koko Loco bar, what more could you want?
In winter, if the temperature goes below -5 where the boat is located, the boat's frost-free water line cannot handle it, and we will have to cancel the booking.
You enter the houseboat via the back or front deck. Inside it is very light because of the many windows. In the cozy living room with open kitchen you can enjoy the view and peace. You have 1 bedroom and a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The living room and bedroom in the houseboat are heated with infrared panels that provide wonderful radiant heat. The bathroom has an electric radiator. The beds are made upon arrival and towels & kitchen linen are also provided.
You will be staying in a small marina that also offers services to guests including sloop rental, kayak and sup. If you bring your own boat you can use one of the two trailer ramps for free. You do pay a small fee for the berth. In the harbor building (where an AED is present) you can use the washing machine and dryer for a fee. If you like it you can fish at this location. The necessary fishing license can be obtained in the center of Nieuwpoort or easily online. In the harbor you will also find Restaurant & Tearoom 'Neptunus' and electric charging stations for cars and bikes.
Want to see more than the nearest Nieuwpoort? Not too far away you will also find the famous coastal towns of De Panne, Oostduinkerke, Blankenberge, De Haan, Ostend and Bredene, each with their own character. The great cities of Bruges and Ghent are also easily accessible from your floating paradise
