Summary: Great location and being a corner unit it had lots of glass giving the lounge a very open feel. Large balcony and outdoor BBQ (not used). Huge two-door fridge-freezer. BUT being next to a busy boat storage yard that used a huge fork truck to lift-n-lower boats into the water from 8am till 6pm every day, the noise levels were very intrusive. The diesel fumes from the refilling station also intruded if the double sliding doors were open, as they useually were. The overall design of the unit was great but the lighting choices, while pretty, were all about style not practicality, useless for lighting up essential work areas. TV cables and remotes all were faulty. Beds were large and comfortable. Ceiling fans were terrific. The shelf in the walk-in robe was too wide (depth) and I constantly banged my head into it. The shelves in the laundry were actually dangerous at eye height and came right up to the door architrave so hard to miss. there were floor level changes of about 25mm at the laundry and toilet doors that could trip you up if you forgot about them. This too is a design fault. Main ensuite was huge with twin basins and spa bath (not used) and worked well. All toilets (2 upstairs and 1 downstairs) were again about style but very inefficient and required cleaning after every use because the flushing system was ineffective. Finally, although animals were not allowed, it seemed a couple of residents were granted the advertised exemptions, so we had yapping dogs around us. Overall a nice stay but I wouldn't return to this block.
