The space
The harmonious combination of stone and wood used in the construction of this unique holiday home transfers to us the atmosphere of the traditional Crete of a past era and gives the chance to experience, for a while, the locals' way of living. As soon as we reach the villa, we see a stone-fenced private land with a grass-covered garden, with olive trees and traditional decoration, a private pool with sunbeds and a lovely stone villa with an impressive arch-shaped wooden door!
Entering the house, we find ourselves in an open plan space, featuring the living room, the dining area and a spacious kitchen. Wood dominates everywhere: from the wooden logs at the ceiling, to the wooden rustic sofa and dining table, as well as the kitchen. The traditional fireplace, the artifacts of Cretan art decorating the space and the old-style, thus comfortable furniture, create a unique atmosphere of coziness and hospitality.
Regardless of the traditional design, the villa offers all the contemporary facilities: fully equipped kitchen to try your cooking skills on Cretan cuisine, satellite LCD TV, DVD player and board games, a library with a variety of books, air-conditioning and Wi-Fi access in all spaces!
The villa features two bedrooms, a full bathroom with bathtub and one WC, all in the same unique style! The Master bedroom, with a queen size iron bed and impressive bed sky, satellite LCD TV, a rustic commode with mirror and the touches of Cretan art all around the space, will offer you a comfortable, restful sleep! The second bedroom features also a queen size bed and one single bed for the extra guest and is decorated also with unique elements of the Cretan tradition, creating a cozy and comfortable atmosphere!
The Master bathroom follows the same style and it is fully equipped with a bathtub, a washing machine and an old style cupboard with sink and a bronze faucet!
Getting out to the outdoor space, we find ourselves in a fairy-tale grass garden, with a hydro-massage pool and sunbeds, equipped with facilities that will make you and your family enjoy hours of swimming, sunbathing, relaxing and having fun in this beautiful spot!
