Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Spacious interior with TV’s in every room (excluding the bathrooms). Very comfortable beds with good range of pillows. Good range of white goods albeit we never used the tumble drier, dishwasher or washing machine so cannot comment on their operation/ease of use etc. Ease of access into Dartmouth as the property is centrally located; the free parking permit was a bonus as it could be used at a number of other locations around the town e.g. Strete Gate. A 9/10 property that I would be happy to recommend to friends and family.

Negative: The following issues are relatively minor but in my view prevented me from giving this property a full 10/10 The outside of the property by the front door was in dire need of weeding as this was the worst frontage on the street for weeds which gave one a poor first impression of what was otherwise an outstanding property. The pots and pans were not in keeping with the quality of the white goods provided in that they were old and dated; the cutlery was also extremely basic albeit functional. A draining board would have been welcomed as other than the work surface, there was nowhere to stack cups, plates, cutlery etc after hand washing. There was no information for the remote control of the velux windows and only basic information on the heating (we never did find out how to switch on the electric towel rails in the shower rooms). The edging on the internal stairs to the upper floor would benefit from anti slip covering.The head of the vacuum cleaner was found stuffed with hair and carpet fibres thereby minimising cleaning suction when used at the end of our stay.

Summary: Most enjoyable 9/10 stay with only minor niggles that prevented this property from receiving a 10/10
