Negative: The home was beautifully decorated and thoughtfully stocked with amenities. We appreciated the abundance of towels, snacks, coffee, teas, and laundry essentials. The backyard was lovely, with outdoor seating, hanging flower baskets, and a cozy firepit complete with fire logs generously provided by the host. The attention to detail in both décor and household items was clear, and it really elevated the stay. That said, the location felt a bit misleading. The property was tucked away on a hidden driveway behind a hotel, which was not quite what we expected. More concerning, though, was the persistent odor inside the home. It smelled as though animals had been kept there, and unfortunately, the scent made it difficult to feel comfortable or enjoy the otherwise well-kept space. The odor overshadowed the cleanliness and charm of the property. I would recommend the host address the odor issue directly, and if pets are kept or have been kept in the space, that should be disclosed up front. Without this issue, the stay would have been close to a 10/10, given the excellent amenities and décor.
