Our Unique Shepherd’s Hut (new in 2020) is ideal for cozy holiday breaks. Guests are invited to relax and unwind in peaceful surroundings, with a well-kept with a pond, ducks and chickens. Enjoy meals in the garden sitting area, or dine in comfort and warmth inside the heated, insulated and fully equipped hut. A great base to explore the awarding-winning Gower Peninsular or enjoy Swansea attractions. The space The Hut is set back about 30m from the house and is accessed from a private driveway, which also offers an off-road parking space. The Hut is equipped and finished to a very high modern standard, with a kitchen area, 2 burner hob, oven with grill, fridge and Baby Belfast sink. It has a seating area with dining table, a pull-down double bed, shower room and WC, a thermostat-controlled heater, a flat screen TV, stereo player, Wifi, iron and ironing board and several storage cupboards. Outside, we provide a table and chairs on a private patio, overlooked by only wildlife, to relax and enjoy some alfresco eating. Our garden is a lovely space with a pond, we have chickens and ducks that roam freely but separated from you. They are very friendly and will be keen to come and say Hello. The owners (who live in the main house) are friendly, welcoming and have fantastic knowledge of the local area. All the basics for your stay are provided, including bedding, luxury towels, along with Tea, Coffee and soaps. Guest access Guests will have full, uninterrupted access of the hut and its’ patio. Other areas of the garden are shared with the owners. Other things to note Ducks and Chickens live on this property. The hut is located in a large garden of a house. The Location Upper Killay is a peaceful area, located just seconds from The Award-winning Gower Peninsular, with shops, pubs, cafes, restaurants and take-away outlets, just a few minutes down the road. Just 5 minutes from the property is the Miller and Carter restaurant, offering an opulent dining experience and some great cocktails! A Health Club, with Swimming Pool and Gym, is also minutes away with day passes available. The Owner is a member of Dunvant Male Choir and you are invited to attend rehearsals nearby on Mondays and Wednesday evenings. Getting around The hut is close to all local amenities, being near the junction of the North and South Gower roads is very easy for travel. Bus stops are situated outside the house. Nearby is a cycle track, leading Swansea, Mumbles, Llanelli and Pembrey Country Park. Local travel information is provided in the welcome back
