3 Bedroom Cabin in Pocono Summit
The Bear Cabin provides a cozy and romantic paradise in the mountains, and it is all yours to enjoy. Surrender yourself by nature's serenity. Spend evenings around the bonfire snuggling up with a loved one, drinking a glass of wine (or two), roasting s'mores and planning next day adventures. We invite you to come and build lifetime memories!
The cabin was handmade in 1970 by a young and deeply in love couple seeking to create their own perfect gateway place. It was recently renovated, but preserving its original character and charm. It is located in a small lake community across the street from the lake.
Outside features include a patio with a wood fire stone firepit with plenty of seating and a hammock, and a large deck for entertaining with a gas firepit table, seating and BBQ grill.
Inside, the main level offers an open layout floor living room, dining and kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath. The spiral staircase leads to the loft level where you can find the primary bedroom and a half bathroom.
Stillwater Lakes Community offers a seasonal beach and lake access, outdoor pool, playground and basketball court. Feel free to grab our bikes to explore around, and our kayaks and canoe for a fun day on the water.
Please note that in autumn and winter the entire house is heated exclusively by the fireplace and the electrical heaters installed in each bedroom and bathroom. In most cases, I will have the fireplace on for your arrival.
We provide the wood for the fire pit. No need to bring your own. We got you covered!
We are pet friendly, however there is a $50 pet fee per stay for the extra laundry and deeper cleaning needed after pets have stayed. Please let us know if you are planning to bring any furry friend.
Finally, upon booking, guest will be asked to supply email, contact phone and vehicle information to fill out a required form for the Community.
