Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Location was good, hot tub was lovely. Beautiful views of the mountains and stars. Spacious apartment with parking. About a 3 minute drive to Lake Tekapo itself which is stunning.

Negative: The property was fine, but probably be aware of these things. It is not as remote as the pictures seem to suggest - you have neighbours both next to and across from you. The showers were quite mouldy. It is a cheap new build the likes of which seem to be popping up all over to Tekapo. Some slight difficulties getting access to the property with new information given only that afternoon which delayed us only a little but was not well communicated in advance; for example, despite us filling out a form indicating our arrival time, there was no one at the property to meet us and hand over keys. Overall, it was perfectly fine but probably not worth the money. Lake Tekapo is beautiful though.
