Sunsets & Serenity | Casa Geneva in Pescadero | House in El Pescadero

2 Bedroom House in El Pescadero
Nestled between Todos Santos and Cerritos Beach, Casa Geneva is perfectly located. Shops, restaurants, and the charm of a Pueblo Mágico are just 10 minutes north. The waves, beach bars, and volleyball courts of Cerritos are 10 minutes south. The beach is a 5-minute walk, with restaurants, coffee shops, and produce stands nearby. Enjoy a shared pool, outdoor lounge areas, and a laid-back coastal vibe—perfect for families, couples, or friends seeking a relaxing escape. Your next getaway is part of the Pueblo Pescadero development--a small cluster of stand-alone homes, tucked into the desert and surrounded by old-growth cactus, mango trees and other native plant species. The development itself is a low-density community (no neighbors on top of you!), with a shared pool and communal outdoor space. Pueblo Pescadero was created as a “green” development, honoring the natural landscape and environment of Baja California. You can enjoy views of the Sierra de la Laguna Mountains to the east and the crashing waves of the Pacific to the west. The rooftop deck will provide you panoramic views in every direction. Within the unit itself, you’ll find many amenities. The living room and master bedroom open onto the rear patio, allowing both indoor-outdoor living and a welcoming Baja breeze. Upstairs, the entire rooftop extends your outdoor living space. Built-in couches provide ample cozy seating, while you enjoy your morning coffee, an evening sunset or a night of stargazing. The unit is outfitted with a water filtration system that is regularly serviced, so drinking water is available straight from the tap. Each room also has its own AC unit, keeping the space nice and cool during the heat of Baja summers. The concrete structure also keeps the space comfortable, no matter what kind of weather rolls through. The community pool is heated (to about 80 degrees) in the winter months and boasts built-in lounge chairs and umbrellas. The facility is salt water as well, to reduce the environmental impact on the desert landscape. The community area surrounding the pool also provides ample space (both sunny and shaded) for enjoying time outside, whether you want to be swimming, sunning or just relaxing. The unit has a few pool floats and towels for guests to use, as well. You can rinse off after your pool time, or after a stroll to the beach, in the private outdoor shower, just off the patio. Casa Geneva is fully equipped to make your stay as comfortable and efficient as possible. The kitchen has all the dishes, cookware and flatware you could need (coffee, baking, cooking… you can do it all, if you want!). The open-concept layout connects the living area to a fully equipped kitchen with ample counter space and bar seating, perfect for preparing fresh, local meals. With an open-air design that invites the Baja breeze inside, this home is the perfect blend of comfort and outdoor living for your dream vacation. There is also a full-sized washer and dryer for guests. Beach chairs, towels, blankets and a small cooler are also accessible to guests. The unit has private, covered parking space right outside, so there is no hike from your car to where you are staying. If you have more than one vehicle, a second car can be parked near the pool area. The master bedroom boasts a king-sized bed and its own private bathroom, with a walk-in shower and dual shower heads. The open style closets allow for easy storage, but also consistent airflow to hang dry your beach gear. The bedroom opens directly onto the outdoor patio, providing wonderful natural light while still allowing for privacy. The second bedroom is located at the front of the house, just off the kitchen. With a queen-sized bed, AC unit and full closet, there is plenty of space for everyone to relax. The second bathroom is just across the hall. The space is best suited for 2 couples or a family with 2 adults and 2-3 children. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and feels like its own "wing," with privacy from the other bedroom. The living room also has a small couch, which could provide another sleeping area for an additional guest. The open concept living-dining area allows easy flow and interaction between the kitchen and relaxation spaces. Barstool seating makes casual meals a breeze, and the patio provides further seating for meals or just hanging out. Once you settle in for the night, you can access your streaming services on the TV or cruise the web, thanks to fast wifi, provided by Starlink. If you have to do work while on your vacation, rest assured you will have the necessary connectivity to do so. The whole space is designed with ease and comfort in mind. When the unit is not being rented, this is our home. Creating a comfortable, inviting and relaxing space has been our mission, and we hope that you enjoy Casa Geneva as much as we do. You’ll have the entire home to yourself — all indoor spaces are private and exclusively for your use during your stay. As a guest, you’ll also have access to the shared amenities of the private Pueblo Pescadero community, including: The community pool Kids outdoor play gym area These amenities are shared between homeowners and guests of the community, so please enjoy them respectfully and help keep the shared spaces clean for everyone. Important Things to Know Before You Book Casa Geneva is located in the magical, rustic region of Baja California Sur—where the desert meets the ocean and life moves at a slower, more intentional pace. To help you prepare for your stay and make the most of your experience, here are a few things to consider: Things to Consider About the Area Baja California Sur is rural, beautiful, and filled with charm. Most roads are unpaved, homes and businesses don’t have physical addresses, and opening/closing hours are often suggestions rather than strict schedules. While these things may feel like inconveniences at times, they are part of what makes this place so special. We share this so you can come fully prepared to embrace the Baja lifestyle. Power & Water Temporary power outages (brownouts) can occur, especially in the summer. Water is precious in this desert region, so conservation is essential. These challenges are part of daily life here and contribute to the region’s off-grid charm. Bugs & Nature You're in a tropical desert by the sea, so it's normal to encounter ants, water bugs, or other critters despite regular cleaning and fumigation. We do our best, but nature still finds a way! Driving & Transportation We strongly recommend renting a car—preferably one with higher clearance. Many dirt roads are not well-maintained, and while a 4WD isn’t required, a sturdier vehicle offers peace of mind. Avoid driving at night due to roaming cows, potholes, and the occasional car without headlights (not banditos!). Roads rarely have names, and houses don’t have numbered addresses, so GPS can be spotty. Plan to be settled in before “Baja Midnight,” which is 9 PM. A Note on Infrastructure This is not Cabo San Lucas—it’s quieter, raw, and still developing in many ways. You won’t find polished resorts, but you will find open skies, friendly locals, and unforgettable sunsets. If you're looking for an authentic Baja experience full of beauty, relaxation, and a touch of adventure—we’d love to host you! 🌵🌊✨
