Positive: If you would like to stay near the heart of Old Portimão away from the tourist centres and experience the town as the locals do, then this is the perfect place for you. The apartment is large, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and in a wonderful location just meters from the promenade. The kitchen is well equipped with all the basics you need and the beds are comfortable. The view from the rooftop terrace is spectacular especially at sunrise and sunset as the light sparkles of the water of the river.
Negative: To make this stay perfect, it would have been very helpful for the kitchen to have been stocked with some starters and essentials like a few coffee pods / tea bags, a small bottle of milk, a bottle of water and basic condiments (salt, pepper, sugar, oil). After a long day travelling, these small thoughtful touches often go a very long way.
Summary: A beautiful, comfortable apartment for a whole family near the heart of old Portimão.
