Summary: I wanted a short getaway to beat the Austin heat since I had a full house with family staying with me. My dog came too, and I couldn’t find another home at such a great price that also allowed pets, so that was a huge plus. This home was the perfect retreat — the pool complex (with the infinity pool plus four others) was incredible, and there were BBQ grilling areas, both gas and charcoal that were really nice, along with a restaurant next door serving great food and amazing drinks. The pools were never crowded, and a few times we had them all to ourselves.We brought paddle boards for the lake, which you can access right from the pool area, plus there are other easy lake access points nearby. The home had plenty of cookware, and there were some games and puzzles (though the deck of cards was missing a few too many to play). Honestly, if that’s the biggest “problem,” that’s a win in my book.Not sure what’s up with the other review about no blankets or toilet paper — we had plenty of both! We had just enough paper towels, but there were lots of kitchen towels on hand.Overall, a great spot for relaxing, swimming, paddling, and recharging. Would definitely stay again.
