The "Meadow Lake Hideaway" is a wonderful place relax, take in the beauty of Montana as well as providing a great base for your travels and adventures in Glacier National Park and the Flathead Valley.
This spacious home consists of 4400 square feet and is situated on 20 glorious acres with a flowing creek that runs below the house. There is a fully stocked kitchen, a Chef's dream featuring stainless steel appliances, granite counter-tops and huge island with extra seating. The dining room is just off the kitchen and great room, both are a great spot to gather and enjoy your group. The great room features a gas fireplace, Large flat screen TV with comfortable seating for cozy evenings. Off of the kitchen French doors lead you out to a large deck with a BBQ, patio table and chairs great for taking in nature. There is wildlife that frequents the area.
On the main level, there are two bedrooms. One is the primary with king bed and French doors leading out to the deck. A lovely ensuite bathroom with a soaking tub, shower and private fireplace. There is a second bedroom on this level with a queen bed and a shared full bathroom is across the hall. The laundry room and garage are just down the hall.
There are two bedrooms on lower level. One is a bunk room with a bunk bed set up with double bed on the bottom and single on the top, along with a two single beds. The second bedroom has a queen bed. A shared bathroom is available on this level for the two bedrooms.
On the lower level there is a game table for cards and board games, a ping pong table, and a desk. Off of this game room is a media room with chairs for viewing the big game or a favorite movie.
Access to the lower level is via stairway or elevator (please let us know if you need access to the elevator).
Outside the lower-level game room is a massive hot tub, outdoor furniture, a covered porch so you can sit outside if it's raining.
The property is located in the Meadow Lake Community. With access to the Meadow Lake Bar and Grill Restaurant, The Meadow Lake Resort Hotel, Hotel Spa and Meadow Lake Golf course, all are open to the public.
The town of Columbia Falls is known as the "GATEWAY TO GLACIER" Centrally located to so many attractions.
From the home it's a 15-mile drive to the West gate entrance into Glacier National Park.
9 miles to Whitefish, 7 miles to the Glacier Park International Airport, 16 miles to Kalispell.
25-minute drive to Whitefish Mountain Resort, for summer and winter recreation.
Red Bus tours, Glacier Park Boat Rides, Fly fishing, hiking, boating on various lakes in the valley, zip lining, Miniature golf and the Big Sky water park are just a few of the activities available here in the Flathead Valley.
As an alternate route to Glacier National Park, you can take the County Road 486, also called the North Fork Road, follows along the North Fork of the Flathead River.
The North Fork of the Flathead River is the western boundary of the park and has been designated a Wild and Scenic River. It is about 20 miles north to Camas Creek entrance to Glacier. The last nine miles of the roadway are not paved.

Summer Family Vacation
This was a wonderful home for 5 adults and 1 child. The family of 3 took the downstairs area and the other adults took the upstairs. We had our own bathrooms and space to spread out. Our grandchild loved the bunk bed and though she said she was going to try a bed each night, elected to sleep in the top bunk every night. The home was gorgeous, kitchen well appointed with everything we could possibly need. Typical of many VRBO’s if you want a good knife, pack one in your suitcase, as these were well used. We managed. The decks were newly rebuilt and were lovely to sit on each morning and evening. The grounds were absolutely gorgeous and once the smoke from the nearby fires cleared, we had beautiful views of the woods & mountain range. There were deer morning & evening, a bear in the woods surprised my daughter on her walk while she was coming up the driveway, a couple of us also saw the bear (huge!) before it scrambled away. The Roku TV’s didn’t work well with all of us using the Wi-Fi for our phones & devices, but the owners were installing satellite the day before we left and once we all hooked up onto the temporary password, the Century Link the TV’s were still on worked fine. The property manager was easy to get ahold of and had apprised me ahead of time that the deck construction may not be completed, but that luckily was done just before we arrived. We all agreed it was a wonderful place, convenient to Glacier National Park, Whitefish & Kalispell

Our group enjoyed this beautiful house and property as we explored Glacier National Park and the surrounding area. The home is well furnished, clean, has a nice layout for gatherings both inside and out, and is on a very private and beautiful property. The hot tub is also a nice addition after long days of hiking and exploring. Annie, the manager, was great about communicating with us in a timely manner and was very helpful when we needed anything. We had a great 8 day stay at this property, which was convenient to travel to Glacier National Park, Hungry Horse Dam, Columbia Falls and Whitefish.

What a fabulous stay in Columbia Falls! We enjoyed our stay at the house as much as we enjoyed seeing Glacier National Park! The deer were in the yard a lot and were fascinating to watch! And we had a bear come on to the property our first morning. So fun to watch him stand on his hind legs to eat the berries! The hot tub was a relaxing amenity and was extremely oversized. The kitchen had everything you needed for cooking along with a grill on the balcony. I thought it was a nice touch that we were provided with a garage door opener. The home is older - a lot of the windows didn't work. But the downstairs shower was HUGE and recently updated! How fun to be able to flip a switch to turn on the electric fireplace on the cool mornings.

Perfect home!
Outstanding property. Beautiful home and grounds. Close to Glacier and Whitefish. Saw a bear near the creek behind the house on the first day! The hot tub was very well maintained and so enjoyable after a day of hiking. The beds were very comfortable. The manager Annie Kim responds quickly to requests/questions. Only complaint...we never did find a pizza cutter!:)

Perfect spot
We really enjoyed a little family getaway/get together here. The kitchen is well stocked, plenty of places to sleep and supplies for the week. We saw lots of deer in the yard. And it was peaceful. About 30 minutes from Glacier National Park!

Wonderful property with easy access to Glacier National Park
Beautiful 20-acre property. Very private and well-maintained, adjacent to a quiet neighborhood which is great for walking. Only 30-minutes to the western entrance to GNP and 15 minutes to lovely downtown Whitefish. Owner was extremely helpful and responsive (although we had no major issues). A perfect home base for enjoying Glacier and the surrounding areas. Appreciate the strict rules around no partying, etc. because this makes it clear that this place is enjoyed responsibly by mature guests. Highly recommend!
