The apartment is located between Chamonix (8 minutes) and Argentière (a 6-minute drive), with excellent access to all of Chamonix’s amenities. Chamonix is well-known for the wide variety of both winter and summer activities on offer. It is a centre for skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, sledging and ice skating. The Grands Montets cable car station (6 minutes) takes visitors up to the high slopes for skiing or hiking, depending on the time of year.
In the summer months, there are numerous options including hiking and biking, rock climbing, mountaineering and white-water rafting. Chamonix golf club is just a 2-minute drive. Accro’ Parc at Lac des Gaillands (an 11-minute drive) is a great day out.
The area has many fine restaurants and bars, which will suit all budgets and ages. For self-catering – Chamonix market in Place du Mont Blanc (6 minutes) takes place every Saturday. Argentière market is every Sunday morning. Both offer the chance to pick up the best, freshest local ingredients. Geneva airport is a 1 hour and 15-minute drive from the apartment.
