Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The bed was super comfortable and there was a night light, electric outlet, and night stand within easy reach. The kitchen, while small, had nice touches like scissors, cutting board, tea, coffee, cooking oil, and some spices. The bathroom had some toiletries and the hot water came quickly and was most welcome. Great location and easy walk from the train station. There is a grocery store at the end of the street and Little Venice is within walking distance but far enough away to avoid the throng of tourists. The building is also quiet, never heard any loud voices, etc.
Negative: The instructions to enter the building were clear, finding the actual apartment was not. You are buzzed in remotely, then left to interpret the instructions on how to find and enter the apartment. The apartment is on the top floor (forget what level the instructions say) via many stairs, and there is not a lift. This is an old building in a great location but being old, it is not level. The apartment itself is modern and nicely decorated, but does not have a hanging closet (there is a closet with hooks on the door and some hangers) or dresser drawers for clothes. The floors, including stairs, are not level and that might be an issue for some.
