3 Bedroom Cottage in Arden

Cottage # 4 is a large 3 bedroom cottage that accommodates up to 6 people. It features 2 queen beds, 1double bed and 1 twin bed. It has washroom with 3 piece bath including shower also master bedroom has it's own ensuite washroom with sink and toilet, new large kitchen with dining area, Livingroom with TV and DVD player, fireplace and A/C. It also has a large deck with a view of our private beach and a cozy screened-in porch. There are many great hiking trails within a few kilometres of the resort and great fishing spots on site.
You can rent your own personal hot tub for an additional $150 + HST for the weekend.
Located on the shores of Kennebec Lake, Springwood Cottages features 1,000 feet of shoreline, with a beautiful shallow sand beach, nestled within one of the many bays of the lake. Kennebec Lake is known to have very clean water, so when you and your children go swimming in Kennebec Lake, you can be comfortable knowing the waters provide a safe and refreshing experience.
One of the best features of the Springwood Cottages beach, is the shallow waters. If you look in the picture below, you will see a rock island on the left side; at that point the water is less than 2 feet deep. Having the shallow water is great for monitoring children and keeping the beach, that much more safe. We placed a floating raft out in the deeper waters, for those individuals who enjoy jumping into the deeper areas. You can see the floating raft if you look closely at the right edge of the beach umbrella.
Our beach offers tons of soft, clean sand that is perfect for building sand structures, playing volleyball, jogging, body burying, and more. As a matter of fact, we have many sand castle contests throughout the summer.
This reservation has a No Refunds cancellation policy.

Our house rules: no smoking, no parties or events, no pets.
EXTRA PERSONS
For the comfort of our guests please limit your group to the number specified for each cottage. If you wish to bring an extra person, there will be an additional charge of: $65 per day or night, $200 per week for adults and children.
DAY VISITORS
To avoid overcrowding for our paying guests, all day visitors, relatives, friends and guests will be charged $50 per person per day or part day. Please register your guest at the store/office before their arrival to avoid the charges being applied to your account.

CHECK-IN & OUT
Summer check-in between 3:00 pm and 6:30 pm, check-out before 10:00 am
Weekends check-in between 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm; check out before 12:00 pm
Spring & Fall check-in & out times are more flexible
DEPOSITS
$200 non-refundable deposit must be submitted as to secure your cottage reservation.
$300.00 non-refundable deposit must be submitted as to secure the Luxury Main House or Log Cabin reservation.
$250 damage deposit is required on cottage rentals which are held in pre-authorization pattern on your credit card

Summary: The Springwood cottages are nicely tucked in a very quiet and peaceful community right at the Kennebec lake which offers shallow beaches and clean water for swimming and boating. The cottage was huge with 3 bedrooms and 2 washrooms, a living room, and a fully equipped kitchen. The cottage had a lot of furniture inside which was carefully and tastefully chosen to give guest enough room to sit and enjoy the peaceful environment. The deck was huge with a table and 4 chairs with an umbrella where we would eat out breakfast and have guests in the form of chipmunks. There were few easy chairs and a canopy porch swing to relax. The beach with the fire pit was nice and quiet without any overcrowding. The firewood was free and use of BBQ machines which were very clean. Our family was very impressed by the courteous service provided by Ms. Kelly who was always there to answer and help with the quest queries. The other support staff was cordial too as I wanted to dispose of the garbage and was asking the staff about the location of the dump bin and he was friendly enough to take the bag from me saying I am going that way and I will do it for you. Great cottage experience can't think of any cons. You will definitely enjoy your stay. The only cons that I see are the booking fees charged by Canadstays which is a bit too much, so contact the owner/manager of the resort directly if you want to save $90 booking fees by booking on Canadastays.com.
