This house is half a mile from Porretto Beach, a wonderful sandy beach with a snack bar and rentals. Visit in September for the Galveston Island Wild Texas Shrimp Festival for gumbos and other popular shrimp dishes. One mile away is The Grand 1894 Opera House for some entertainment and cultural events in town. Galveston is an outdoor enthusiast's haven. Here you'll find hiking and biking trails, birding opportunities, and even gorgeous Gulf beaches (32 miles of beaches to be precise). The bustling city of Houston is 52.2 miles away.
Each condo is equipped with its own full kitchen with all the needed appliances and utensils to whip up mouth-watering snacks and meals–the chef of the group will have plenty of things to work with and surprise the group. To add a smoky touch to your escape, you'll find two gas grills, one per condo. The common area is equipped with a handful of beach chairs and even a picnic table for dining alfresco.
