The Space:
Brisa Marina is a spacious, Mexican-style 1800 sq. ft. apartment with two private terraces, one in front and one in back providing an additional 800 sq. ft. of space to enjoy! The 2nd-floor suite features two bedrooms and a full bathroom to accommodate 6 guests. It's a colorful culture so let the splashes of blue & beachy vibe lift your spirits. And you're just 1 block to the malecón promenade and the beach!
The main spaces of Brisa Marina suite:
- A spacious, bright, and cheerful living area with skylights offering natural light with 10-ft high ceilings. The open layout makes it fantastic for “together time” with a great sectional sofa and Smart TV for relaxing downtime at home.
- There's a wonderful kitchen with a blue-tiled backsplash and countertops, and everything needed to prepare meals at home. It's a fully-equipped American kitchen with a coffee maker, microwave, blender, toaster oven, and pots pans, kettle, dishes, kitchenware, gas stove and oven -- more that you could possibly need! It’s great if you’re vacationing on a budget. There's a cute breakfast bar too with bar stools to chat with the chef of your group!
- In the center of this suite is the dining room with a table to easily seat six people and perfect for a sit-down meal or a game night!
- There's one full bathroom and two bedrooms, arranged as such:
BEDROOM 1: 1 King bed (master bedroom)
BEDROOM 2: 2 Double beds (a desk in this room for a good work spot, if you must…and we hope you don't!)
LIVING ROOM: Sectional sofa for extra sleep space
- There’s a large private terrace in front that faces east where you can sit and watch the beautiful sunrise! Grab your coffee and enjoy!
- But wait! There’s a second and larger private patio with an additional covered dining area as you head out the door through the kitchen. This large patio sits adjacent to the spiral staircase that leads up to the rooftop and overlooks the garden courtyard and pool. This back patio faces the west — so grab your sunset cocktail this time and catch a spectacular sunset!
- There's a safe box for your valuables.

The shared spaces at the complex*:
- A large rooftop with a giant palapa shaded area & plenty of seating to enjoy the breeze & sea view! Have a sunset cocktail or enjoy a meal.
- A beautiful garden courtyard pool! Surrounded by mature palm trees and a cement palapa shaded area with seats for enjoying some time out of the sun or a beverage.

When ready to venture out, the complex is just a block from the east end of Progreso’s famous waterfront malecón that runs from Calle 60 (the street you’re on!) to Calle 80. It’s a 1.1km/0.7 mi walk one way and loaded with things to see and do. You’ll find a large selection of restaurants, many of them seafood, and of course, you can dine with a beach view! If you want a longer walk, the Progreso Pier, at the west end of the malecón, is an incredible 6.5 km | 4 mi long! It's the world's longest pier! And of course go enjoy the beach, the beautiful ocean views, and warm shallow water — you'll only be a block away, you can go every day!
There are many day trip options too, you can go see pink flamingos at the salt flats in Celestún or take an excursion to visit one of the many Mayan Ruins. Chichén Itzá is one of the most famous as it’s one of the 7 Wonders of the Modern World! A 5-minute cab ride will take you to an outdoor dinosaur park open at night with giant life-sized dinosaurs. And a 6-minute cab ride will take you to the Raccoon Sanctuary at Reserva Ecologica El Corchito.

You’ll have exclusive access to your apartment and your patio area. Plus, as a registered guest, will have access to the shared areas like the courtyard pool and seating area downstairs and the large palapa rooftop terrace.

- Relax & enjoy the beach & warm shallow ocean water

Getting Around:
Guests can find free parking on the street in front of the apartment complex, making it very easy to get around the area. The Merida International Airport (MID) is the closest airport. It’s about 50 km or 31 miles (a 40-min drive) to the apartment. If you happen to be flying into Cancun International Airport (CUN), it’s about a 4-hour drive to Progreso.
