Summary: I debate on writing this review, but I decided that I needed too. The initial booking was great. Once we got to the property that is when it all fell apart. Upon arrival the grass around the property was ankle high and unkept. A paper hornet nest was being built right Shiite where you park, and magically a fire department appeared directly beside of the house (the pictures cut that out). Upon entry we noticed a strong musty smell, and bugs and debris in the window sills. We also realized that the pictures were no 100% accurate to the inside of the listing. The back where the hot tub was located was in need of care, pressure washing, weed eating, and general cleanup. My wife went to use the toilet and it didn’t flush. There was also a strong sewage smell in the bathroom. We reluctantly reached out to the property manager and informed her that we were not pleased with the stay. She agreed to give us back a refund via Venmo, and apologized for the issues. She did ask me if I put water n the toilet bowl, and I said I did not. She informed me that a plumber had been for an issue prior. Again, we were civil and understanding. Upon leaving and booking a hotel stay I reached out to VRBO just to clarify if that was the policy. VRBO stated that it was not the method used, and they reached out to her. We did receive a small refund but not the amount we paid. She sent me a nasty text and told me I should have asked for more pictures, and she would do nothing more. It was a bad VRBO!
