The apartment is always professionally cleaned between guests and maintained to a high standard. Clean towels and linen are provided. There are two small supermarkets in the village as well as a number of restaurants and bars, including a pizzeria and a traditional family-run restaurant, all within walking distance to the apartment. You can walk along the coast (via steps) to the neighbouring town of Radazul, which offers more beaches (great for swimming and diving!) a marina and more bars and restaurants. Tabaiba is situated in a beautiful, coastal area of Tenerife with easy access to the main highway with excellent connections to both the south and the north of the island. The apartment is really easy to access from the TF-1 highway (Tabaiba exit), making it the ideal base for exploring the island from. It's a 35-minute drive from the south airport (Aeropuerto Reina Sofia) and a 20-minute drive from the north airport (Los Rodeos). The local bus company Titsa runs a service every 45 minutes from Santa Cruz de Tenerife to the bus stop directly in front of the apartment building. There is also a direct bus from the south airport that stops on the highway which is a 15-minute walk downhill to the apartment from. The best way to get around the island, however, is by car. We recommend hiring a car for your stay as it will give you much more independence and freedom to explore Tenerife at your own pace. You'll also be able to access all the secret beaches and amazing restaurants that we recommend in our guests' guidebook that is in the apartment. CICAR is a popular car hire company on the island. There is a private parking space in the same building as the apartment with direct access. If you require an airport transfer, we can help. Tenerife’s capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, is a 15-minute drive away. The historic city San Cristóbal de La Laguna, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a 20-minute drive away. National Park Las Cañadas del Teide is 60-minute drive away. Tenerife South Airport is approximately 35 minutes. Tenerife North Airport is approximately 20 minutes. Local shopping mall and large supermarkets (Carrefour, Mercadona, Lidl) are a 10-minute drive.
