Positive: The view from the house is amazing as described, the villa is big and clean.
Negative: This villa is in the middle of a wonderful national park, in an ideal position for trekking lovers, but the road to get to the property from the town of Sirolo is a long dirt road, very difficult to drive if you don't have a 4x4 car. If you have a low car, be aware of this. There are a lot of rocks, holes, and sharp and steep turns. This is not specified in the description given on Booking. Upon asking the office staff about the road conditions, they assured it was fine, even though they saw our car parked right in front of the office. They could have just warned us. Bear in mind that I have asked this information in italian, which is my first language, so there was no misunderstanding or lost in translation. The road is quite long as well, you can't walk to town for a coffee and back, I mean you can, but it will take you an hour to say the least. In the national park, there are wild boars and wolves, and I would not walk at night, to be honest. When we went to collect the keys from the agency office, nobody told us that in the house, there was no toilet paper and the essential for cooking such as olive oil, salt, pepper and sugar. There are no cleaning products etc. If we knew, we could have bought it in advance without any problems. Luckily, they gave us a welcome kit with one toilet paper when we arrived at the property. Another misinformation is about the distance to the beach. The staff told us it was only 10 minutes walking from the house, which is not true. The way down to the beach is all downhill, so if you fast walk you could do it in 10/15 min, but the way back is all uphill which is quite challenging if you are not trained and in good shape. This is certainly not a walk for elderly, disabled or very young children. The location is perfect if you love trekking and be close to nature, but not if you look for comfort, which is great, but I believe this should be written clearly so people know what to expect.
