This private cabin is situated on 20 acres and borders National Forest property. Our driveway is two-wheel drive accessible. With 400 sq. ft. modern comforts include WiFi, hot tub, brazilian tiled bathroom, central HVAC system, a tankless water heater, a full-sized laundry room and pillow topped queen mattress all while still being able to enjoy nature. There is a queen-sized bedroom, one bath, a fully stocked modern kitchen/dining area, a large living room with two rollout couches as well a child-sized loft featuring built-in entertaining area and a queen-sized mattress.
With WiFi Running Squirrel Ridge is a great place to semi-disconnect from the world and reconnect with family and nature. The cabin boasts a 1200 sq. ft. deck, propane grill, patio furniture, picnic table and family-sized bonfire area. If that weren't enough, relax in the 5 person hot tub!
Don't miss hiking the two improved hiking trails; the on-property ridge trail takes you along a forested trail with 5 natural log benches to rest on along the way to the top of the mountain where you can enjoy the view of Lake Nantahala. On the property across a handmade bridge and stairs, there are three swings that the children love to play on.
