Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Hotel Rohot is located in the heart of Dushanbe city, near the Opera and Ballet theatre and the main Rudaki avenue. Current hotel building is one of the oldest in Dushanbe. The hotel is rather small and it gives very personal, cosy feeling. Staff is super friendly and helpful. They provided free shuttle from and to the airport, helped us to find taxis, we’re ready to show a bank or explained whatever we needed. Unfortunately, the hotel will occupy the current property until beginning of May 2024, as it was decided by the city to hand over the land plot to some investors whom plan to destroy the old building and to build a commercial centre, instead. It is pity, but hopefully, Rohot will be relocated to another appropriate and cosy building.
Negative: We liked everything. Be ready to pay in cash, as internet connection might be unstable.
