Positive: The food was excellent, the room was comfortable, clean and the riad was beautiful. Lots of beautiful decor. They made adjustments for allergies. We stayed after reading a review in The Times which did it justice. It was quiet and peaceful.

Negative: Although there’s a menu in the room for drinks and a bar mentioned on the listing it’s hard/awkward to order. The riad ‘guardian’ was sometimes on the roof terrace on his phone in casual clothes which made it awkward to use/enjoy. The guardian was extremely quiet and reserved so it was hard to get recommendations or ask questions (as he didn’t make conversation and disappeared asap). Couple of things missed by staff.
