A little corner of paradise in a vibrant neighborhood full of history (s)! This is my 40 m² apartment in intra muros. A cozy living room with a small kitchen area, a cozy bedroom and a comfortable bathroom. The house, a former shipowner's residence, dates from 1680 and luckily was spared during the Second World War. The original beams and the old parquet make it unique. The little extra, I chose a warm and vintage style with a few pieces of furniture that I have redone.
The apartment is a piece of history all by itself. Freshly renovated, however, I knew how to keep and enhance the historical details. Notice the reliefs in the ceiling beams that were originally used for building ships. They denote an order made by a Malouin shipowner. For your comfort all the beds are new and the windows have double glazing which makes the apartment peaceful while it is located in the center of the old town. The bedroom overlooks an interior courtyard and has wooden shutters. In the kitchen which holds the necessary (plates, oven, fridge and microwave) you can use toaster, coffee maker and kettle for breakfast. For a large table do not hesitate to extend the table. Tablecloths are available in the drawer of the marine chest of drawers. To work you can sit at the office. WiFi is available. Renewable energy.
You will have access to the whole apartment. Also available are wine glasses, corkscrew, oyster knife, iron and ironing board. In the bathroom you can use the washing machine, the hair dryer with diffuser, and the vacuum cleaner if necessary (it is in the cupboard). A few books in French, English and German and a deck of cards will be there to distract you. Without forgetting the secure key box for very late arrivals.

My apartment is on the 2nd floor of a charming house from the 17th century which belonged to a shipowner from St Malo. As in any old house, the wooden staircase is a bit narrow. The bedroom has a double bed (140x190) and the living room sofa can be transformed into a double bed (140x200). Note, the curtains in the living room are not completely blackout.
The old town is full of bars, restaurants, crêperies, bakeries (2 steps from the apartment). There are 2 good glaciers (Timothy !!) and a Carrefour market nearby. The market (Halle) is held on Tuesday and Friday mornings. Plus, the apartment is 150m from the sea and 300m from Bon Secours beach and its seawater swimming pool. The view of the bay, Dinard and the island of Grand Bé is breathtaking, especially at sunset.
15 minutes' walk from the SNCF train station (St Malo / Paris in 2.5 hours), 12 km from Dinard airport, and 1 km from the pier for the islands of Jersey / Guernsey. Perfect starting point to discover the Emerald Coast, Dinard, Cancale and Mont Saint-Michel (55 min drive). I also recommend a visit to the medieval town of Dinan (35 min by car).
