Located 200 km northwest of Tahiti, Raiatea shares the same lagoon as the island of Taha'a. Indeed, 2.4 million years ago, the two islands were one. Formerly called Hava'i, the island is considered the original land of Polynesian culture. Raiatea is home to spectacular archaeological treasures, sacred places of worship called "Marae", including Taputapuatea, the largest and most sacred marae in Polynesia. Even today, communities in Hawaii, New Zealand and the Cook Islands still have a connection to this sacred place of pilgrimage, which they consider the home of their culture.
The Apetahi bungalows have a prime location with exceptional views of the lagoon, Te Ava Piti Pass and Huahine Island. A superb swimming pool shared on its wooden deck will allow you to enjoy deck chairs and garden furniture with sofas for your sunbathing!
This bright wooden bungalow, with its uncluttered decoration, can comfortably accommodate 2 adults and 2 children, ideal for a family stay.
In the main room, a Queen size bed and a double sofa bed (140x200) open onto a kitchen equipped with a small fridge, a cooking plate, a microwave, all the necessary utensils and even a mini bar!
