Positive: The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They showed us around when we first arrived and explained all of the amenities. * They even called us a taxi early in the morning for our early flight, which was extremely helpful. * You only share a bathroom with a few other people, so we never really had to wait for a shower. * We had a private room with a balcony, which was really nice. * The bed was pretty comfortable. * Overall, this was our first hostel experience and we were pleasantly surprised by how little we had to complain about. * If you’re looking for a more affordable alternative to a traditional hotel, this is a great option.
Negative: • One of the nights we only had cold water for the shower, which was definitely not ideal. • There is no traditional AC throughout the building. We stayed in August, so it was very hot inside. • Luckily, our room had a portable AC unit, which made things much more bearable, but it took up a decent amount of space in our already-small room. • Our room was right off the reception area, so it didn’t feel as private as we would have liked. When the door was open, you could see directly into our room from the lobby, which was a little uncomfortable.
