This is a beautiful southwest facing one acre retreat with a creek running through the property. It is a ten minute drive from Nelson, BC. There is lots of privacy in this natural setting. A regional park on Kootenay river is less than a five minute drive away. The two bedroom/one bathroom house is of post and beam construction with many large windows that create spaciousness and provide lots of light. One of the bedrooms has a gas fireplace and there is a wood fireplace in the living room. Electric heat is also supplied. Ski weeks are available during ski season. There are two popular ski hills within a 45 minute drive to either hill. A great spot to relax after a day of skiing or hiking.
Nelson is a small heritage town with many local artisans and craftsmen displaying their arts and crafts in the many local restaurants that support a wide variety of cuisines. There is a natural hot springs with a cave overlooking Kootenay Lake an easy day's drive from Nelson. There are many scenic mountainous drives within a days drive as well. There is lots of opportunity for hiking, water sports,fishing and just a great place to enjoy the outdoors.
