Enjoy super sunsets, great fishing, boating and other recreational activities on Ness Lake (20 mins from Prince George, British Columbia).
The surroundings:
A beautiful new lake house/cabin available for your enjoyment. Make family memories at Ness Lake! Fantastic location on one of the best lakes in British Columbia (348.9ha in size).
Quiet, rural surroundings with all the amenities of home, and easy access to all your favourite water recreation activities. We have resident mallards, eagles and a variety of other birds and wildlife.
The interior:
Comfy sleeping in two bedrooms (King master and Queen den), as well as a queen pullout couch, and two bathrooms. Includes WiFi, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, gas stove/oven, microwave, ice maker, and variety of small kitchen appliances/tools, as well as a large gas bbq on covered deck.
For relaxation, we have a screened-in porch. There are games and dvds to keep you entertained if the weather is not cooperating. The smart tv also has streaming capacity.
Other details:
Enjoy lounging/playing at the dock, with a very short set of stairs! Water access from two boat launches on the lake that are minutes away. There’s an open fire pit for s’mores and cook outs (fire bans may be in effect - host will advise based on dates of booking).
Park an RV/boat/sled trailer and still have plenty of parking in the driveway. The garage is not accessible to guests (owner use only). Basement is also for owner use only (used for storage and mechanical room).
Sunsets are the best from our part of the lake. The property faces Eskers Provincial Park, which adds to your privacy, while allowing you to enjoy the nature that surrounds you. That park is available for day use for mountain biking/hiking in the summer, and snow shoeing/cross country skiing in the winter. Great snow mobile opportunities on deactivated logging roads in the area too!
Ness Lake is perfect for boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, jet skiing, tubing, wakeboarding, fishing (most prevalent species stocked: rainbow trout, Kokanee, and brook trout). In the winter enjoy ice fishing or sledding.
Only 20-25 minutes from Prince George for gas, groceries, etc. on a newly paved highway (Chief Lake Road). You can even get grocery supplies delivered (ask the Host for details).
Small pets are welcome with restrictions/ cleaning fee (enquire for details).
