Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The property is well-located and the room was pleasantly decorated. Facilities and rooms were clean.
Negative: Service was poor. The attendant charged an arbitrary exchange rate from USD to Soles that did not match the price given on booking and was unhelpful when we later realised the discrepancy. When we paid for the second half of our stay, the rate went back to normal, which felt suspicious. When booking this hostel, be aware that you may be charged a different rate on arrival. The room is also noisy early in the mornings as the property is located on a commercial street.
Summary: Nice hostel in a good location, but let down by unhelpful attendant and price inconsistencies.
