Positive: * Staff members are super nice and welcoming, they did everything in their power to help us with the issues we had. * Great main pool & pool restaurant. * Great private beach & beach restaurant. * Beautiful resort.

Negative: We genuinely appreciated the staff’s efforts to accommodate us, upgrading us multiple times when issues arose. However, despite these gestures, our stay simply did not meet the standard or value for the price we paid. From the start, the first room did not match the booking photos and had no hot water. The second room shown also had mold stains, a sewage smell, and again no hot water. After being upgraded to a higher category, we found the Jacuzzi unusable due to—once again—no hot water, and the shower revealed large mold patches hidden behind the door. Management apologized and upgraded us again, but having to pack and move three times in such a short stay was exhausting. The final villa looked appealing at first, especially with the private pool, but the reality was disappointing. The room was very small, with visible mold, cigarette butts in the pool (we don’t smoke), and overall poor cleanliness. Dust, cockroaches, and centipedes were frequent issues. Even after “cleaning,” we found the same centipede we had trapped under a glass left untouched. On top of this, the villa door was screeching loudly every time it moved and could not close properly without force, as the frame seemed misaligned (possibly from expanded wood due to hot water fumes). These details highlighted the lack of proper maintenance throughout the property. While the location itself is beautiful, it comes with major disadvantages: reaching the island’s main spots like Zen Beach or Haad Rin required taxis costing a minimum of 1,000 Baht each way—a detail we wish we had known beforehand, as it significantly added to the expense. Overall, this is simply not a 5-star hotel. There are far better and cheaper options all around the island that offer much higher quality, cleanliness, and comfort. Unfortunately, we assumed that paying more would mean a better experience, but in this case, the property was overpriced, under-maintained, and fell far short of expectations.
