Positive: Pros: Rakib was a kind host, explaining well and understanding. On our last day gave us a little gift and souvenir, did not expect it, but was nice. It is located in a apartment complex which needs to be accessed via a key at the front door/gate. Has a lift, so no issue with getting to the floor. The shared kitchen had plenty of "self-serve" water and other beverages and a shared refrigerator, no oven though. Room is pretty standard, clean, a bit small, but it's what we payed for.

Negative: Cons: As far as I understand, this is not a hotel nor a singular apartment. This is one giant apartment subdivided into 4 varying rooms with one shared kitchen. The doors are thin, you can hear the neighbor's easily, so they can most definitely hear you. Here is the kicker, everyone shares the exact same master key. ALL THE ROOM DOORS have THE SAME KEY, I did not confirm it as I do not want to break any laws/moral ethics to try it out, but if I can lock the shared kitchen with the same key I can close/open my room, so the logic applies to everyone else. Not a comfortable feeling to have if you have valuables, sure I trust people, but the mind can only bear so much on a vacation, especially in Rome. Beware that the door locks can be peered through, so when we stayed overnight, we locked our door with the key inside and left it there to avoid any peeking. The bathroom: Since this was 100% a large apartment before, all 4 rooms need to have auxiliary water and sewage systems pumps to move it to the central lines. I know this because you can hear the pumps always working when flushing and when turning the faucet. It has a grinding noise, not annoying but it can get there. The shower cannot maintain an even temperature, sure I might sound spoiled, but you really got to fight it for a while to get it right. You cant' flush the toilet paper, no problem, but the trash bin must be emptied out every morning otherwise it will start to stink. Rakib emphasized the toilet paper situation a bit too much, I understand coming from the owner/maintainer of the place. The room: Decent bed, when I pulled the headboard cover, it was full of old deteriorating peelings of the fake leather. Now I know why there is a cover. The whole bed needs a changing, asap. That being said, I would come back, despite the essay above, still is a unique place for sure.

Summary: Some what comfortable, but you get what you pay for.
