Introduction Once you have reached the bottom of the tree-lined drive at Old Oak House, you will immediately be struck by the property's impressive wood and glass panelled front, featuring a large glass balcony opening out from the master bedroom, as well as the 1.3 acres of land that surround the property. Despite its modern appearance, the Old Oak House, formerly a coach house, is a very old property, with some of the original parts of the building standing at over 400 years old. Once you have settled into the Old Oak House, you can decide what you want to do, probably a mix of relaxing in the comfortable space and testing out the hot tub, enjoying the flora and fauna, admiring the views and just soaking up the atmosphere. However, if you wish to explore, there are plenty of walks around the surrounding village and nearby villages of Compton Dando and Saltford. Full Property Details Ground Floor Entrance Hall Enter through the front door of the Old Oak House into the spacious hallway, with copious amounts of hooks, a coat and shoe cupboard and the impressive glass-lined staircase. Straight in front of you: Downstairs WC A modern and stylish WC with unique conical washbasin. Turn left into: Bedroom Four A spacious downstairs double bedroom with comfy king size bed, sofa and chair, large wardrobe and wall-mounted flat-screen television. A large dining table with bench seat and additional chairs is the perfect place to enjoy a meal together, while the enticing sink-in sofas beckon for a movie night on the 65” flat screen television. There is a door to the back of the annexe that gives you access to your own private, covered outdoor patio area leading from the living room. Outside There's plenty of outside space and seating at the Old Oak House for you to enjoy, from the large decking area next to the annexe with a table, plenty of seating and hot tub, to the raised garden area with deck chairs, a spot-lit patio and two large bench-style dining tables and chairs. There are sheep in the field next to the main house, and an electric fence. Children should be supervised at all times and not allowed onto the field with the sheep, stream and pond.
