Our fully renovated Azores House has been carefully decorated offering a simple and cozy interior, and a simply unique exterior! The interior consists of a living room with sofa bed (sleeps 1 person) and with a large glass door opening onto a porch and grass with the ocean next to it; in a small room next to it there is a second sofa bed with a lower bed and comfortable cushions (sleeps 2 people); a bed room with a comfortable quenn size bed, an antique mirrored wardrobe and a window facing the ocean; a fully equipped kitchen and a small bathroom. Outside you will find a viewpoint with unique views of the ocean where you can enjoy fantastic sunsets or see the starry skies of the Azores! The property also offers you the shade of ancient trees where you can relax in one of the hammocks stretched out there, a BBQ to grill fresh direct delights of the ocean and a lawn where to set a table and enjoy all that the framing offers you! Casa do Mirante was one of the first houses to be built on this beach in a very familiar neighborhood of the 1940s. Less than 1km away you will find supermarket, MB, Health Center, church ... A fruit peddler passes through the gate once a baker passes every morning and leaves fresh bread hanging from the gate to taste when he wakes up ... Only 91.5 meters from the gate there is a Beach Restaurant & Wine Bar for all meals and cocktail hour! I will send you GPS coordinates after your reservation. We are 10.2km from the airport. It is very easy to find us and everyone knows (and loves) Praia do Pópulo. From the center of Ponta Delgada's to here is a pleasant 5.2km walk very frequented by hikers, joggers and cyclists. The taxi from the airport costs approximately € 15. I can also give you contacts of partners for tourist tours, tuk-tuk, cultural activities, etc. The Casa do Mirante is a true oceanic experience: even on the Atlantic side, the sound of the waves is present. For most people it is fantastic, but for some I could not even ask to stop, but I think the ocean will not hear me :))
