Located in tranquillity, on a single track road, and yet just half a mile from a sandy beach, two pubs, convenience store and fish and chips... with ample parking and a beautiful garden, Oink House is available until the end of September (negotiable for other dates) to groups of up to six people. Formally operating as an award-winning 100% rated bed and breakfast, offering superb quality furnishings including top line beds and bedding, guaranteed to give you a comfortable stay.
The space
Point House is a 200yr old traditional flint and brick Mill farmhouse, set in a wonderful landscaped garden on the edge of a large natural pond.
The views from the bedroom windows are as far as the eye can see of natural rolling Norfolk countryside, the location is ideal for walkers, bikers and hikers, or for anyone seeking a get-away-from-it-all retreat where you hear nothing but the sound of waves and wildlife, and yet having all the conveniences you need within a mile of the house.
Facilities basically include 2 king size bedrooms, one double, with top of the range mattresses and 100% cotton bedding.
Two bathrooms, one with power shower (hot water will be available 24/7)
Magnificant 30ft x 15ft conservatory with two sofas and large TV, coat hooks, dining table and chairs
Large farmhouse style traditional kitchen, fully equipped, including farmhouse table and chairs.

There are numerous farm animals within the vicinity, you will be able to both see and hear them on occasions. You are welcome to view them, but we ask you do not feed either your fingers or your scraps to our pigs!! they are lovable affectionate pets, but cannot distinguish between bread and bone!
There are simply oodles of places to go and to visit within 10 miles of the house, with access to boat trips only 5 miles away, and a vast sandy beach within a 15 minute walk.

I am sorry, but due to the animals on site, and the natural pond located within the gardens, we are unable to cater for under 12's and we operate a 'no pets' policy.
We guarantee you won't find anywhere more relaxed and welcoming that is so conveniently located for exploring the whole of North Norfolk.
The property will be left uninhabited for three days between each individual let, to ensure safety regarding the current pandemic, within medical safety guidelines. This is not mandatory, it is for your safety and peace of mind. The property will be cleaned using necessary government guidelines cleaning fluid, by professional cleaners. Attention to safety will be paramount in this case.

We are 5 miles from two local well-served towns, sainsburys, tesco, waitrose and lidel supermarkets are within a 15 minute drive. Our local seafront shop is open from 8.30am until 7pm every day.
We have two national trust properties and two racecourses within half and hour's drive, and our local beach is sandy and ideal for swimmers. Horse racing takes place at both Fakenham and Yarmouth (please consult the website for fixtures), Cromer is within 10 miles of the house, and less than 5 miles away we have the use of a 100 acre ancient woodland, where you can picnic or walk to your hearts content. The sandy beach is less than half a mile away, along with two pubs, the convenience store and the fish and chip shop. Access to the broads and boat hire is just 5 miles away from our door.
