Key features Nirvana Seaside Cottages can accommodate four couples or two families in unique separate self contained dwellings. Both cottages are only ever let to one group, not two. Recycled marina decking wraps around the cottages complete with an outdoor deck for entertaining, laid back dining and daybed for a siesta in the afternoon sun. The backyard is screened by swaying palms and bamboo where you can enjoy an outdoor hot shower after surf or relax out in the sun listening to the ocean roll in on the back lawn. The cottages interior is a mix of classic vintage with a touch of modern luxury, styled with hand picked travel souvenirs, surf culture collectables and unique homewares. Nirvana Seaside Cottages makes for the perfect family holiday right across the road form the beach, the long driveway is perfect for children to play and ride complete with tire swing. Plenty of lawn to laze about all in the quiet end of north Werri. There are Smart TV's, Netflix, 500 Music CDs from ACDC to Xavier Rudd, travel book library and a sunset seat perfect for your afternoon drinks, just Come As You Are and you wont need to get in your car. Configuration Nirvana Seaside Cottages comprises of two separate dwellings, the front cottage 'WHITE COCKATOO' hosts a queen bedroom with vintage surfboards lining the tall ceilings and northern outlook to four iconic Norfolk pines. The second bedroom is a childs haven with white timber bunk beds, books, toys and Lego under the bed. The lounge wraps around the northern corner of the cottage lined with glass sliders letting in lots of light and the ocean breeze. For those cooler nights light up the fireplace and roll down the black shades and sleep tight. The modern open plan kitchen and dining is in the center of the house with an outlook toward the beach on the eastern side and afternoon sunsets to the west on the sundrenched deck. Complete with gas stove top and oven, microwave and modern appliances. The sunroom adjoins the kitchen, with seating for six, plus three more along the kitchen bench or you can laze on the leather corner lounge. The light filled main bathroom offers separate toilet styled with retro black and white check tiles, black tap ware and bamboo cabinet that meets the original back door, which opens onto the deck perfect for YOGA. Matts are also supplied inside the back door blanket box and extra hooks are above for your towels and beach bags. The rear loft Cottage 'BLACKCOCKATOO' brand new featuring open plan kitchen, dinning for six, queen size bed, lounge Smart TV, bathroom, dressing area and carpeted loft with two king single beds and Smart TV with DVD player. Enter through the triple sliders from the sundrenched deck or laze on your bed looking out toward the north and take in the view of the Norfolk pines. The outdoor laundry is shared by both cottages with an additional toilet. Outdoors The perfect place to spend your holidays outdoorsthe sun drenched deck is complete with block out-privacy shades offering outdoor dining for eight and daybed and Webber BBQ. The veranda steps down onto a palm-lined driveway with plenty of space for kids to play. Walk straight into the back yard from the surf for a hot shower and laze out on the decking that wraps around the cottages. Heating and Cooling Both cottages have large fully screened windows that let the ocean breeze flow through and pedestal fans for those hotter summer nights. There is a wood fire-place in the main living area and gas heating in the sunroom area. The Black Cockatoo Loft Cottage also has a ceiling fan and electric heating. Parking There is off street parking for two cars or ample parking on the street. The garage is locked and not available for guests use. Pets Sorry this property is not pet friendly as is not fully fenced. Special information This property is private however not fenced off at the front yard due to the relaxed feel of the cottages and quietness of the area. All pantry basics are supplied and there is also a great localfruit and vegetable shop five minutes bike ride away to buy fresh produce. There is an IGA and bottle shop in Gerringong and local cafes. We are right on the bike track so please bring your bikes. The Gerringong Village Markets are on the 3rd Saturday of every month. The Kiama Produce Markets are on every Wednesday afternoon from 3-6pm where you can buy fantastic organic local. Minimum stay -There is a minimum two night stay for all bookings, which changes to three nights on long weekends, four nights at Easter and seven night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of January. Peak changeover day - Please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not generally schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays. Internet/Wi-Fi access - This property provides complimentary Wi-Fi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email.Please note however that neither the agency nor the owner can guarantee 100% that the Wi-Fi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic.
