Positive: Great location at 20 seconds from Ebisucho station. 7-Eleven a couple blocks away. 15-minute walk from Dotonbori, so you can walk if you are out until late at night, when trains are not operating. The host was very helpful and always willing to help. I was looking for an accommodation with kitchen. In the end, I never used it. It's so easy to find delicious and economic food in Japan, even at late night! No need to cook at home, it would be cumbersome since Japanese kitchens are very small. The bathroom chamber has a ventilation device with a drying mode, which you can use to dry your clothes if you place the clothes rack inside the bathroom. Although the washing machine has a drying mode, clothes may come out still wet.
Negative: My stay was great, so I just want to provide some feedback and suggestions: - The accommodation was not different from the photos, however, the photos were taken in a good light and they make it look more luxurious and new than it actually is. - The light in the bedroom has to be turned off before you get into bed, as there is no switch next to the bed. - The sunrise starts very early in Osaka (4.30am in June) and the curtains don't do a great job at keeping the light out while you are sleeping, so I had to sleep with a black t-shirt on my head to not wake up from the sunlight coming in from the sides and top of the curtains. - For long stays, trash disposal and bedsheet cleaning can be quite an ordeal. Don't try cleaning the bedsheets in the accommodation's washing machine, you will not have a way to dry them. Use the laundromat establishment found at the left side when exiting the building instead, they have giant washing machines and dryers. A set of clean linen once a week provided by the host would be highly appreciated. - The couch felt a bit dirty because it had some stains and due to the fabric is made of, so I didn't want to directly sit on it and I had to place a big towel on top of it. I would suggest adding a removable cover that could be washed after the guests leave. - Because I'm tall, I could see thick dust on some places where the cleaners may not be able to reach.
