Lovely mountain cabin near Bass Lake and North Fork. One bedroom has a sleeping loft that is great for a kid (not too young) as it is accessed with a steep ladder/stair. The drive to the southern gate of Yosemite National Park is around 45 minutes. Yosemite traffic is VERY HEAVY during summertime and some weekends. In summer, it is best to arrive at the park as early as possible in the morning (before 9am or so). THE SPACE This listing is for the entire home. My guests can help themselves to all amenities, supplies and snacks! :-) Please let me know if you have any suggestions of other items that would make your future stay even more comfortable. In addition to baseboard heating, the house has a woodstove for use in the winter. Firewood and starter logs are provided. Please be sure to always keep the woodstove door closed and latched. DO NOT USE THE WOOD STOVE BETWEEN MAY 1 AND NOVEMBER 1. GUEST ACCESS: The entire house. GUEST INTERACTION: If you have any questions during your stay, feel free to contact me. My contact information is provided in your welcome packet (email). NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW: The house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Please respect our wonderful neighbors by refraining from outside noise after 10pm. There are off-leash dogs in the neighborhood. I'm not a dog person, and I find them quite friendly. They generally leave when I tell them to "go home". OTHER THINGS TO NOTE The house has a Keurig coffee maker, you are welcome to use. To help the environment, I have supplied reusable pods that you can fill with coffee provided (caffeinated and decaf). An assortment of teas is also provided. I have also stocked the house with supplies you may have forgotten to bring: shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, toothpaste. I want to earn your 5-star rating. Please let me know if there is anything else that would make your stay more comfortable. Pets This is a dog-friendly cabin (no puppies). If you have pet allergies, please let us know so we can talk to you and take appropriate precautions. At checkout there will be an additional $10/night fee per pet. If cleanup after a pet visit is extensive, we reserve the right to withhold part of your security deposit.
